Privacy Policy

At HiddnChat, your privacy is our top priority. We use a zero-knowledge architecture, which means we cannot read your messages even if we wanted to.

We only collect the absolute minimum data required to operate the service:

• Username (chosen by you, no email or phone number required)
• Encrypted message content (which we cannot decrypt)
• Account creation timestamp

Unlike other messaging platforms, we do not collect:

• Email addresses or phone numbers
• Contact lists or address books
• Location data, IP addresses, or device fingerprints

All messages are end-to-end encrypted using RSA-2048 + AES-256-GCM. Your private keys are generated and stored on your device and never leave it. We mathematically cannot read your messages.

Encrypted messages are stored on our servers in Germany, subject to GDPR. We only store encrypted ciphertext that is useless without your private keys.
